Hi, I am Linda, below is a snapshot of my story that led to me becoming a hypnotherapist
I truly believe the most valuable gift you can give anyone is time, a listening ear, and meaningful guidance. This is my ethos, my code of conduct.
Throughout my personal life and career, I have enjoyed helping, supporting, and developing people to be at their best. This has included leading and inspiring teams, personal mentoring and most recently volunteering at an advice bureau. The latter involved helping clients through financial difficulties, homelessness, work-related stress and relationship issues.
To the outside world, I appeared to be happy. After all, I had enjoyed a successful career, and had a home, family, and friends that truly cared. However, as I approached middle age, I began to feel like my best years were behind me, my life seemed unfocused, I was lonely, and I felt invisible. It was like my mind, body and spirit were in a downward spiral.
After a long period of reflection, I realised I needed to make changes, take control, and free myself from this emotional turmoil. I had a mountain to climb, and I didn't know where to start. However, with support from friends, one of whom is a life coach, and the wonders of hypnotherapy, I began my journey of transformation.
I never want my transformation journey to end. I want to keep changing, learning, and giving. Thankfully I now appreciate age and the wisdom of experience, I have freed myself from inhibiting thoughts and habits, discovered new hobbies and ways to stay active, made time for and found love, picked up healthy habits, reconnected and made time for myself, and I certainly laugh more!
The most profound, and unexpected, outcome of my journey was my hypnotherapy experience, and the positive impact it has had on my life. Being a Clinical Hypnotherapist is now my passion, purpose, and a wonderful gift I'd like to share with you.
